קְדַםch. sam( Hif. הִקְדִּים to salute first); Pa. קַדֵּם 1) to precede; to do early, be early, first. Targ. Ps. 69:32 דקַדִּימוּ קרנויוכ׳ (some ed. דקָדִ׳) whose horns grew prior to its hoofs. Targ.
